Allanah is an emerging poet based in Ipswich, studying English at the University of Suffolk. She likes to get on stage and reads words, and has been doing so for a year now, thanks to the friends she made at Uni who gifted her with the confidence to get up there and speak. Her poems are mostly about sex, food and angst, sometimes all three. She swears a lot, in her poems and in life. Allanah is a barmaid, a student, a daughter, a sister, a girlfriend, a dog-owner, a feminist, a smoker, a drinker and a poet.
